REGENT
Lela Hoffmann
Lela is a wife, mother, nurse, and proud Nana. Married to Chris for 43 wonderful years, God has blessed them with seven children and six grandchildren. When not caring for family or patients, you'll find her singing, sewing, or tending to their chickens, bees, and cows, enjoying the rhythm of country life and the way it keeps her close to God's creation. As CDA Regent, she loves serving alongside faithful women.

Candrian
Lori has been in CDA since 2002 and has served in many roles over the years with CDA, including twice as Recording Secretary. She and her husband Curt have been married since 1989 and have been parishioners at St John the Baptist for just as long. They have two married children and five precious grandchildren. Lori has been a counselor in private practice since 2007.

Laura joined CDA in 2023 to find new ways to serve the parish and greater community. She still feels "new" to Alvin, having moved here in 2022 with her husband Mike and their six children, now ages 5-15. She homeschools them all and enjoys creating books and making even boring papers look beautiful.

Siewert
Celine joined CDA in 2022 and has been a parishioner at St. John's since she was 6 years old. She married Heinz 44 years ago at St. Johns, and they have two grown children and one grandson.

Gloria joined CDA in 2022 and has been a parishioner at St. John since 2012. Gloria loves finding ways to serve the community, and she is involved in many charitable causes. She also enjoys housekeeping and helping people find their dream homes!

Texas District 17 encompasses several area courts, including our local Court #2073 and the newly formed Court #2808 in Manvel. Our District Deputy is Mary Reed keeps our Court up-to-date about happenings across the entire district.

Father John Taosan has been the pastor of St. John the Baptist in Alvin for more than 10 years and continues to share the joy of his priesthood with our families every day!
